Brainspotting
-
Brainspotting is a therapeutic modality for rapid trauma resolution. It enhances athletic, musical, visual performances, and creative expansion. Brainspotting was developed by Dr. David Grand.
Brainspotting is what we call a, “resource” intervention. It is effective and efficient allowing clients to maximize their time in session..

Brainspotting is the center piece of my work. Research shows 3-4 sessions are equivalent to 30-40 talk therapy sessions.
In this modality, we have the possibility to release suffering, expand performance, and widen creativity. Haruki Murakami said, “Pain is inevitable. Suffering is optional.”
Let’s get our healing on!

Intensive therapy is personally crafted for your specific needs and wants. For example, you might want to look deeply at the way your parents’ divorce affected your current relationship patterns today.
While healing can be addressed with therapist over a long period of time (months and years), I use the intensive setting to work one to four days with you.
Intensive therapy days support deeply embodied experiences. In other words, every cell in your body will have a resourced experience.
-
Customized brainspotting sessions range from one to four days and are designed to meet you exactly where you are. Whether you're navigating trauma, seeking clarity, expanding your possibilities, or ready to release what no longer serves you. We design your experience together.

Woven into my commitment to accelerate healing for all marginalized populations, I was selected as one of twelve professionals to participate in the 2024-2025 Southeast Brainspotting Institute Diversity Fellowship Program. I am delighted to belong to a diverse community of like-minded healers, helpers, and learners. Thank you to the Southeast Brainspotting Institute for the 12-month intensive training and specialized learning.

To be a brainspotting client and clinician is to be mindfully present and notice what is happening moment to moment. Notice how the subcortical brain knows what to do and how to do it without using intellect.

Group brainspotting is available and a wonderful place to rest and restore after disasters and humanitarian crisis.. I am engaged in on-going, specialized education to give brainspotting help to individuals and communities facing these circumstances.
